Hey! Is there something that you’ve always wanted to see on the web? Are you dying to manipulate your environment to your liking? Do you feel the childish urge to scribble on anything and everything? Do you miss those things you had when you were a kid that came with happy meals where you could scribble on the carbon pads with the red plastic pencil and then watch it all magically disappear as you pulled up the clear plastic covering? Well if you have always wanted a virtual version or if you answered yes to any of these questions, click here for hours of drawing pleasure. It’s my virtual toy.

Update 10/5/97: I have spent hours reprogramming this applet. I have basically added the option of being able to choose your own pen and background color, even during the drawing process, so that you can have different colored items in the picture. Enjoy!

Update 11/25/01: Well, I finally got around to redesigning this thing using the Swing API and event system. You should have JRE 1.4.x and probably Netscape 6.x or Internet Explorer 6.x, with Java enabled in your browser of course, for it to work. It probably works with the Mozilla browser as well, but I haven't actually tested that (let me know if you try it). If you have Netscape or Internet Explorer versions earlier than 6.x, or an entirely different browser, I make no guarantees that it will work. It probably will in some cases, but I haven't tested any other cases, so I don't know. If you don't have the JRE 1.4.x plugin installed, the applet will require you to install it or it won't load. While I was at it, I redesigned the applet somewhat, gave it a more modern look, fixed the repaint behavior, the resizing bugs, and the borders. If you want to see/borrow the code, send me an email. Also, let me know if you find any bugs. Enjoy!
